We were free once

Don’t get mad at me because I am throwing videos up on my blog instead of writing pieces, I just need to finish mind numbing, pubic hair pulling, mundane soaked projects as the month draws to an end but I want to keep your interest and even though I love you as I do, let’s face it, you lot will look at something else that is shinier and wander off like disgruntled chimps in need of play, don’t look at me like that, we both know it’s true. Now my placating is made even worse as my choice of shiny for you has been thrown around the web for years now, don’t care though, I love it and there is always the off chance that some of you haven’t seen it, or heard it to this music, in fact I know this to be true.

So all those that understand the poignant message because they know the depth of understanding of Mr Adam Smith and his concepts of individual freedom or indeed Sartre who tells us that “either man is wholly determined or else man is wholly free” which simply means we can do as we want and with this knowledge we should realise that we are then responsible for our actions, which makes us responsible for the world we create…. can leave now, HA HA made you look though…. but those that don’t know you should stay for 9 minutes and 22 seconds and look at our now and then, especially when set to one of the most beautiful pieces of music you’ll ever hear, Mirror in the Mirror.

1905 and I think through to 1906 is the footage, just before the world wars, obvious immigration, Prohibition, Wall street Crash and 20 years before traffic lights, which is such a good point the ASI picked up on, just how well we can work without regulation, Sartre’s words making sense evidenced in pictures, or it could be showing just how much we possibly need to be less erratic, we can’t deny that invention is born from need, put a few more cars in there and that just becomes a Police Stop video.

Attach whatever perspective you want on it, still beguiling to watch the black and white days whatever the conjecture.
